Value Clarification

Some important values and my goals for each value.

My Top 9 Values:

1. Value: Love: Having a close family and friend and a truly caring, meaningful relationship.


- Goal related to value:

+ Understanding between members in a family.

+ Listening and caring to each other.

+ Being grateful and appreciating each other.

- Action steps/What am I going to do about it:

+ Listen mindfully to each other, practice listening to understand, not to criticize.

+ Practice giving advice and sympathy instead of fighting.

+ Treat others as if it would be the last day they lived.

+ Give compliments on every little thing. Encourage them. Be less selfish.

+ Pray for their health, success, and happiness. 


2. Value: Physical Health: Having a good body shape and flexible body.


- Goal related to value:

+ Trying to keep BMI average or good, not too fat or skinny.

+ Maintaining a schedule of exercising at least twice a week. 

+ Doing yoga at least once a week.

- Action steps/What am I going to do about it:

+ Keep track of activities and weigh body mass frequently (at least twice a week). 

+ Eat more healthy food instead of fast food. Avoid processed food. 

+ Make time for going to the yoga classes. 

+ Swim at least once every week. 


3. Value: Spiritual/Faith: Having a clear path of what I want to do.


- Goal related to value:

+ Developing the connection with the universe. 

- Action steps/What am I going to do about it:

+ Listen to the "Law of Attraction Accelerator" to improve all aspects of life.

+ Maintain meditation and yoga. 

+ Keep reading the "Great Compassion Mantra" to connect and communicate with higher Gods in Buddhism.


4. Value: Achievement: Finishing/completing tasks or something useful every single day.


- Goal related to value:

+ Planning and completing tasks or to-do list. 

- Action steps/What am I going to do about it:

+ Keep track of the to-do list. 

+ Update and focus on priorities and tasks. 

+ Minimize all distractions: no TV, no movies, etc while focusing. 

+ Try to finish tasks one by one, focus on one at a time. 


5. Value: Altruism: Making the environment where I live and work beautiful and myself "bright."


- Goal related to value:

+ Finding and developing beauty everywhere even at home or at work.

- Action steps/What am I going to do about it:

+ Show appreciation for every little beauty. 

+ Decorate and clean home frequently (at least once a week.)

+ Give compliments to everyone and every little thing.

+ Pay attention to my own fashion style.


6. Value: Way of Life: Knowing the meaning of lives, being true to myself.


- Goal related to value:

+ Being true to myself.

+ Being true to my beloved people. 

- Action steps/What am I going to do about it:

+ Have my own code of ethics and do not care about what other people think or say about me.

+ Practice meditation and non-judgement time. 

+ Try to be mindful, not mind - full. 

+ Help people with good intention, not for getting something back from them. 


7. Value: Economic security: Having paychecks/income every month. 


- Goal related to value:

+ Having at least a job at all time (must be legal).

- Action steps/What am I going to do about it:

+ Work part time or full time at all time. 

+ Do not quit because of any boring or slow workplace. 

+ Show ability to work and adapt quickly to any new workplace. 


8. Value: Moral value: Having my own ethics.


- Goal related to value:

+ Maintaining my code of ethics, only change and adjust it to be better, not to be worse. 

- Action steps/What am I going to do about it:

+ Read the Buddhism bibles/books and meditate. 

+ Maintain my own ethics, not to follow the crowd if the crowd is doing something wrong. 


9. Value: Money: having money at all time.


- Goal related to value:

+ Keeping (a) job(s). 

+ Investing

- Action steps/What am I going to do about it:

+ Always work at least one job.

+ Keep track of my own financial status. 

+ Write down what to buy before going shopping. 

+ Just buy what I need, not what I want.

+ Limit money spent on fast food and clothing.

+ Make a list of what to reduce spending on and stick to the plan.

+ Keep learning and investing
